I was doing so good, eating healthy and exercising every day. Lost anywhere from 5-10 lbs. since the first week in January.

We went to Wisonsin for the weekend to a party and I blew my diet so bad and haven't been able to get back into it. Since I'm a 99.9% vegan, I wouldn't have a problem eating at Subway for a weekend but I know Griffin gets tired of it. I am definitely an "All or Nothing" type when it comes to diet/exercise. Anyone else like that and if so any tips for travelling and keeping it up?

I've contemplated bringing a small cooler with raw veggies and fruit but didn't have time this weekend. I wouldn't want to take it to parties of course but could leave it at the hotel.

:augh: So frustrating!

I'm definitely all or nothing when it comes to diet and exercise. When I go on vacations I usually go by myself and I usually drive. So I pack my car with good food. I understand what you mean though. I don't have very good advice though, my diet is going badly. *sigh* so you're doing better than I am.

When I travel I try to limit myself to one blow-off meal a day. If I'm going to a party or reception, I count that as my meal. I also make sure I do a lot of walking, even if its just around the neighborhood. My family has always packed meals for the road so no fast food, and kept fruit as a snack in the car. This also helps the trip go faster because a couple grapes can help quench your thirst without any bathroom breaks!

Thanks for the tips. I think bringing some fruit is a great idea. I don't know how well it will work but I'm going to also try seeing how friendly restaurants are to me ordering off the menu. Yes a little "When Harry Met Sally" but it doesn't hurt to ask.
