To follow Dedeley's fun idea of what part born to play-who is your fave movie/play/cartoon/tv/book character
Jane Wyman in Magnifcent Obsession with Rock Hudson as the leading man-what a great love story

Too many to mention them all. Smattering below:
Jamie Fraser from the Outlander series, Raistlyn of Weis and Hickman fame, Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler, Iago, Hamlet, William Wallace as portrayed by Mel Gibson, Morgaine Le Fay from Mists of Avalon, Queen Elizabeth I, Anne Boleyn, Fagin in the musical version of Oliver, Manuel from Fawlty Towers, Tim from The Office, Matron Mama Morton from Chicago, Katherine Hepburn's Eleanor of Acquitaine.
I could go on and on. Do characters in real life count? Got lots of those, too.
