Just have this mental image of you (boy, is it nice BTW) of you strutting dow the cat walk then heading back to the curtin. Before you get behind the curtin, you just stop and give the crowd a little butt wiggle :moon:

Hmmm... I don't think either of us ever said we thought it would bother you. Turn about is fair play - we get wet, you get wet.

Good thing I like pickles - Eric, Biker, be quiet.
When we first found out that I was preggers with Erin, Her Grace, hubby had gone grocery shopping and picked up some pickles and ice cream as a joke. However, what he picked up were the Vlassic Garlic Chunk pickles.
Oh my, they were wonderful!!!! Preggers or not, I still would have eaten the entire jar.

I'm BACK!!!!! Yea!!!!! My modem died last week & I haven't been able to do anything online. Damn dial up. Of course work has been very busy so there is no time to get on the forums from work. Damn Big Brother. We are in the mid to low 60's here in San Antonio, the temps have been dropping to about the low 40's high 30's in the evening. We are expecting some rain later this week. But the Faire Season officially starts in 10 days. I am looking forward to going to Excalibur Faire. I need some time off. I don't know if I can keep sane until TRF starts. I don't think I will be able to make it to Scarby this year. Not in the budget, or in the time off from work. Enjoy the Snow & Pickle fight.
Will it be called the "Great Snow/Pickle Fight of 2005"? Flying frozen pickles & pickle juice made into "snow balls". Fun!!!!

We will just send it and put it in a nice pile in your back yard. Just enough to provide a sled area and just a bit extra for snowman building.
Would that be alright?

Goooooood Morning! :D *hugglez*
We bought a new toy this past weekend! (I saw WE but really I mean HE). So tonight "we" will be setting this new toy up....what is it you ask? A Projector...ya know, the new TV projectors? Yeah, HE thought we might need to have a 6 foot wide picture instead of just a wide screen TV. He dragged me to the electronics stor to check it out and it's really pretty cool, basically like sitting in the movie theater! LOL! Nice, but is it REALLY necessary?
And Erik though HE got all the cool toys...lol! ;)

It took me 2 years to get a new phone ( I kept getting his hand offs) and he's a big time computer geek so if there is something new out he's wanting to know how to get it. Am...don't be jealous! If you ever make it over my way, you'll get to share in the fun too! LOL!

No hugs today. I've been out with the flu yesterday and don't want to get any of you sick *coughcoughsniffle*
Snowball/pickle fight? Wish I was there. Got 12" of snow in my backyard here in NY and I'm so ready to get rid of it.
Men in Uniforms? We have pictures of my hubby in his Marine Corp dress blues - *swoon*. I love me a man in uniform.

"But it's nothing. My throat feels fine and those cough gels are stopping the cough."
:unamused:
Three days later, after nearly running off the highway because he's so tired and coughing incessantly, he's going to the doctor. the big baby.

Sarah if you aren't there who am I going to give my fudge too?? So you's got to be there lol. Actually it looks like we're going to have a bigger crew then originally thought. It'll be myself, hubby, 2 kiddos, my friend Brynne, & my younger sister. (I don't know if I'll be sane by the time we get there lol)
Anywho, Spongebob isn't that bad, hon. I actually kind of like him. I made my 3yo watch the specail features on the DVD and we learned quite a bit they even had a "show" that Jaque crusteaus (sp?) son made about marine life and what the characters would look like if they were real. Really rather cool.
Uh oh! Is it time to get the hamster bubble out again???

you weren't a goober last night you were a hoot. lol, I really enjoyed it. But I sympathise with all you went through last night, I don't think my hubby would have been that extreme but.. we'd have gone through quite a bit. lol
Actually, I think the funniest part was all the typos....they were honestly caused by the lack of lighting. I would have been okay if I was using a regular keyboard but the laptop keyboards are flat and a bit harder to "feel out" lol. That's my story and I'm stickin to it!
(not to mention that I still can't type without looking at the keys....even though I know where they all are!)
All in all...the darned projector is working wonderfully and looks WAY better than I expected. After his parents left (and pretty much called me rude for sitting there with my face stuck in the computer the whole time - HEY IT'S MY CHAT NIGHT!) we sat and watched half of 13 Ghosts....I suspect we'll watch the other half tonight.

In a frantic hunt for some desperately required files (which seem to have discovered cloaking technology since the move here in November) - I did come across a "Book of Days" that appears to have followed me for some 5+ years now.. This 'fill-in' calendar is riddled with inspirational and motivational quotes..
So I thought - might as well put this thing to good use - and share with you a "quote of the day" type of thing...

and Phee, fankoo... yes, I get this exasperated with my mother too. She never puts her blinker on when she wants to change lanes, then cusses when no one will let her in. I don't wanna get started on my dad and his vociferous venom when it comes to driving. Let's leave it at he's of the mind that everyone on the street is out to kill you and it's constant griping, bitching and snarling - no matter the weather conditions or population of the road.
and he wonders why I don't like riding in the car with him. Sometimes I think I'm the only sane one in the family. I mean, I wear a corset... :P

Sarah, I know how you feel. I have relatives that do the same and worse. (Oh the things my grandmother used to do while driving. :faint: and I won't even go into what my grandfather used to do.... shudders at the memories)
Up here though the bane of my driving existence is Highway 58. I have been almost hit my truckers more time than I care to remember. And what is it about the Coca-cola trucks? They seem to think their half of the highway is in my half. Nothing like being run off of the road by a coke truck. And this is before the weather gets wet or worse.

Rose, gravelhaulers. I hate them worst of all. ESPECIALLY the double rigs. Semi trucks I can handle, I can just speed up and pass them... but when they're double rigged, I stay well the hell away from them. Anything bigger than I am on the road has my immediate respect and fear.

WHENEVER LIFE GETS YOU
DOWN, MRS. BROWN, AND
THINGS SEEM HARD OR TOUGH,
AND PEOPLE ARE STUPID,
OBNOXIOUS OR DAFT AND YOU
FEEL THAT YOU'VE HAD QUITE
ENOUGH...
Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving,
And revolving at 900 miles an hour,
That's orbiting at 19 miles a second, so it's reckoned
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see,
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at 40,000 miles an hour
Of the Galaxy we call the Milky Way.
Our Galaxy itself contains 100 billion stars
It's 100,000 light years side to side
It bulges in the middle, 16,000 light years thick
But out by us it's just 3,000 light years wide
We're 30,000 light years from galactic central point,
We go round every 200 million years
And our Galaxy is only one of millions and billions
In this amazing and expanding Universe
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light you know,
12 million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember when you're feeling very small and insecure
How amazingly unlikely it is your birth
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
Because there's bugger all down here on Earth.
Now.. I'll admit it ain't as effective without Mr. Idle in a tux.. but perhaps it'll help a bit?

Poppin' in to say .... :hi:
Just got home from the fabric store, acquiring the first grouping of materials needed for this weekend's sewing projects which include: a few Kinslayer© Shirts - (a.k.a. "The Sex Shirt"), a Modified Kinslayer (this new *woman's* design - is going to be awesome), a fencing legal doublet, and a Frock Coat {must stay warm during parades}. Got a couple of repairs to finish up on the gorget and cloak.. but those are no biggie.. :D
As its currently peaceful and quite here - I'm taking the remainder of the afternoon as "mine" - and will hit the cutting table the eve - ready to "taz" the fabric  .. but for now.. a little aroma therapy, couple of candles, coffee, and toblerone while answering emails - makes for a nice relaxing afternoon- prior to the onset of chaos..
.... HiHo...HiHo.. its sewing we shall go.. in rain or shine, we must design.. HiHo.. HiHo

Lady Sarah wroteRose, gravelhaulers. I hate them worst of all. ESPECIALLY the double rigs. Semi trucks I can handle, I can just speed up and pass them... but when they're double rigged, I stay well the hell away from them. Anything bigger than I am on the road has my immediate respect and fear.
What I object to about the Coke trucks is the narrow misses I have had in almost head on collisions because they were in my lane . And the only safe place to go was the shoulder. And to make matters worse, I had to speed up to get to the shoulder. I was missed by 6 inches. The driver was too busy wiping his windshield to notice that he was driving in my lane. And this has happened more than once.

Doing my ususal Sunday morning 'cruise around the net' kind of stuff.
Well, hubby (aka: Mr. Grumpy Britches) recovered from his bad mood before I got peeved at him enough to sell him off to the gypsies.
When he gets grumpy/stressed like that, he is just grumpy all around and just wants to be left alone. Not even me nekkied would have helped Friday night. (Thanks for the suggestions though BonBon, however they will have to get filed away for another time).
Saturday we went down to Eastern Market in Detroit. It's part open air market, part warehouse market, part hawker's delight. Came back with a ton of fresh produce, olives, cheeses, sausages, pastry YUM! Then we hung with friends for the rest of the day.
Today is the laundry and sewing day.... busy, busy, busy..... :D

Finally over the flu, yippee!
Morghan, I second Mags comment - You dun need no stinkin' badges! (But for some odd reason, it's feels better and now you can join the Wench Walks!) :D
Well, I just made a whole boatload of new friends. They found my business card at a local cafe and decided to call me. A large group of women, who one way or the other are into new age, have invited me to their meetings and gatherings. WooHoo! They wanted me to join them today, but I didn't want to push it (flu and all). So I'm joining them for a Tuesday Meditation session. Turns out, some of them have left the NYC rat race to get into either massage therapy, open new age stores, etc. Some of them are living my "Master Plan" (snowbirding between NY and FL or VA). I'm happy I've found myself another group of intelligent women who are as crazy as I am (present company included  )
Plus, the hubby and I went antiquing and I scored some great necklaces and a small polyresin bottle that looks like an old tree with a man's face in it.
So I'm feeling good today. :D

Despite the bad start, the weekend was relaxing and productive. Also found out, I get a garb fix! :bananada: A couple of years ago, one of the guys at MIRF decided to get some of his friends together, dress in garb and head to Frankenmuth for dinner just for something to do. Anyway, instead of a pair of boots, I wound up with a lovely leather cavalier with red suede band and Bevelry is sending me the purple suede band for free!! if I can find the link (if it's put on the cbs11 website), I'll put it up here for everyone's amusement!
bounces out, then stops...oh... and a guy stopped me twice yesterday... asked me out the second time he stopped me... his father owns a German restaurant down here and SQUEEEEEEEE he's taller than I am, nearly crushed me (and that's saying something when I'm cinched in by steel boning!!) when he hugged me. ghiba!

Sarah, so when's the next date?
And I scored a free sewing machine this weekend. One of my nieghbors was going to throw out a old kenmoore, simply because the clutch was frozen. She gave it to me, 4 screws and some WD40 later, and it runs great.
