2005 CTRF AUDITIONS
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire™ is pleased to announce auditions for its 2005 performance.
ABOUT THE FAIRE
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire™ is an olde-world theme park and family adventure complete with nine stages, nearly a hundred Renaissance Artisans and Crafters, Feasting, jousting, madrigal singers, dancing and more.
All the faire is a stage and here patrons will behold as more than 150 costumed performers recreate the timeless legend of King Arthur. Attendance for the 2005 performance is estimated around 30,000.
AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions for the Faire will take place at the Knights of Columbus on Route 171 in Putnam, Connecticut this April 2-3, 2005. Scheduled audition times begin at 10am and continue through 5pm each day. All auditions will include:
- Monologue: You must perform a 2-3 minute monologue.
- Singing: Regardless of your singing abilities you must perform a short song acapella.
- Improvisation: You will participate in several improvisation exercises with other candidates.

STAGE HANDS WANTED
Would you like to be part of the show, but prefer to be one of the folks that make the show happen? We are looking for motivated and talented individuals interested in becoming stage hands, prop masters, set designers, etc. Call us for more information on how you can help.
TUITION FREE TRAINING
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire™ offers a tuition-free theatre program for selected candidates. While experience is helpful, it is not a requirement. As needed, our professional staff will instruct you in the art of stage combat, music, dance, voice, period dialect, audience interaction, projection, acting, improvisation and more.
