Ok, I'm on one of those Yahoo groups where you post things you want to get rid of and things you want and you swap with people in your area. I'm contemplating cleaning out my sewing room (aka The Disaster) and am thinking - someone's bound to want some of this stuff...

I posted this to the Local 13 site and got a lot of response, from both in and out of the Local so thought I'd bring it here... sure, there'd be shippng involved sometimes, but we're big girls, we can work that out...

Anyone interested?

my only thought on keeping all this straight might be to have something in the subject line
the group i'm in uses
OFFER: to be used when offering soemthing for free
WANTED: to be used when searching for an item.

OH! and it would probably be good to put where you are, incase somebody doesn't want to deal with shipping...

the only thing I request is if you can, have pictures. It makes it so much easier to see what the trim looks like, in Abi's case, or what the pattern is on some fabric, or etc...

I've got some jewelry to start with... I'll see if I can get something started up this weekend on my end.

DEFINITELY!! Pictures, multiple ones are almost a MUST for things like fabric and trims!!

and don't forget you can put non-faire, non-garb stuff up here too!

I've got a few things that fall into that category that are definitely going up here!

What a great Idea. You know what they say... one wench's trash is anothers treasure :lol:

I don't know if I have much to contribute, but here I go to rummage the closets (there is always something at the back that you would be better without), but I can't wait to see what others are trying to get rid of.....yay, new goodies!
