Team Wench Illinois and 2005 MS Walk

Team Wench Illinois raised nearly $1,800 for the 2004 MS Walk, and I'm hoping we can top that this year. Thanks again to the lovely wenches who walked last year! Local 34.5 (along with the rogues, mercs, privateers, and himbo!) is currently fundraising for the 2005 MS Walk with the Greater Illinois Chapter of the National MS Society! We'll be walking on May 1, but will be fundraising as long as they will let us. Donations are always helpful, but we're also looking to add as many people to our team as possible! Consider asking your friends and co-workers for donations, or even collect loose change for the next two months, it will add up quickly! Also, for March Madness, there's a new challenge!

"With a nod and a wink to our state's history of "incentive driven" politicians, we've got a bit of a bribe going ourselves. The MS Walk messenger who forwards the most eCards by midnight on March 10 will be rewarded with four tickets to another winning Illinois event - the Chicago Bulls game at the United Center on April 2. But the real slam dunk in reclaiming the title requires fundraising, so the walker who brings in the most dollars between now and midnight on March 10 will receive six free tickets to the same Bulls game!"
