I'm a big time Punisher fan. When the movie with Thomas Jane and John Travolta came out in '05, I went to see it on opening night. At the time, I didn't shave my head. I slicked my hair back, wore my BLACK 9" work boots, my BLACK jeans, a BLACK belt, and... a BLACK tee shirt with a glow-in-the-dark Punisher skull on it. People were a little scared when they saw me getting out of my 1988 Caprice cop car dressed like that. :)

The instant I saw that sporran, I knew I had to make one. Pretty simple... I've made 4 in that style already. I just need to get the right weight of tooling leather for the lid.

Apparently, SM hasn't looked at this thread. Though it'd be unfair for her to guess.

I grew up on DC and Marvel. My dad would come home from the comic shop and he would sit down and start reading his comics. My brother and I would be sitting around him waiting for him to finish so we could read them. I love memories.

The GTO's, Camaros, Tbirds 'vettes and Chevelles. (all older than 1970, of course) Those are my idea of real cars. I know it's so not right but I loove the sound of an overbored big block with glass packs or cherry bombs. And the rumble of the engine when you are in the driver's seat. The lines and the styling. There's just something about those cars.

I've watched and checked out some newer ones and I have to say that they style and presence isn't there with most of them. They all seem to match.

Well... if Lady Luck sides with me, even in the slightest bit, I will be able to use my time on shore duty to further my leatherworking skills and will be able to turn a little profit making leather goods and maille. I know that in our little rennie world that leatherworkers are a dime a dozen, but... I'd like to think I'm likable enough for people to buy from me instead of that other guy! :)

I like so many cars from so many eras that it's almost rediculous. Tri5's, '60s Impalas and Chevelles and Camaros, '70s Monte Carlos and Corvettes and Novas, '80s Camaros and Corvettes... I doubt there's a decade that I couldn't name one or two cars I would LOVE to have.

Which reminds me... one of these days, I think I'm gonna do a nice black sporran with a big gold Chevrolet Bow Tie on the lid!!!

I'm sure if I thought about it, I could come up with a couple that I like too. There's just something about the older ones that I really love. I just remembered, I need to put some pics I took at work up on myspace. We had a model T and A car club come through with their cars and they stayed at the castle.
