World of Warcraft...thoughts/help...

Im thinking of buying TinkerWench and I copies of World of Warcraft for both of us to play,, any thoughts or advise on this game???

1.) Go online to buy a copy because they are no longer shipping copies out to retail stores. They didn't expect the demand to be this great this quickly. You can also snag it for cheaper.

2.) Buy a players guide to share. The booklet that comes with it is quite thick, but not all-inclusive. Between the guide and booklet, you should have the basics!

3.) Quit your job. Because you won't get to sleep on time ever again and you'll be hitting mobs of monsters until 3 AM.

4.) Make sure in the VERY LEAST that you have a DSL connection. Playing on a 56K modem ~is~ possible...but if you don't have a top of the line processor to help you out, the games going to lag and you're going to get frustrated.

5.) Make sure you make a character on the Llane server so you can come visit me! :D

I'd pretty much second everything Dragonfly said. I just got it two weeks ago and I've managed to stop for work but other than that...I'm playin' all the time. The game simply RULES. I play on the same server as Dmitri and Gardo under the name Pathoss. Unfortunately...someone already took the name Pathos with one "s" so I added another.

When you get it...look me up! And anyone else...drop by and say 'Hi!"

Azjol-Nerub. Alliance side. I'm a 23 level human Paladin. Dmitri is like level 35 or so. He's a Rogue (of course). I run into him once in awhile but he's so far ahead we can't do too much together. I've been hanging out in Duskwood and Redridge lately. Stop by sometime!

Alas, I am alliance! And only a level 14 (although I've been off the game for so long, I've probably got 200% XP going with me until I hit lvl 18!)

The sad thing is...normally I don't talk a whole lot and I walked on there only knowing 2 other people in the game. Now I've been friended by about 20-milion people and I can barely play the game for the tells. *chuckle* It's great...

Honestly, I have a character on Elune until the 21st...I logged on the first day and couldn't play it again. I didn't like the graphics, the interface...I was spoiled by EQ2. *hangs head*

Proudemoore Alliance Night Elf lvl 28 hunter (main char/ have 4 others on there too) and soon to be Firetree Horde (moving my tauren over and starting a couple of others) hehe....also have one (very low) NE druid on Feathermoon which is a rp server. That and a good number of my real rennie guild mates are on the same servers ;).....the local 96ers.

I *was* a lvl 44 Tauren Druid on Mal'Gannis until I decided to reclaim my life and cancel. I got my mount and all of my druid forms, which was all I wanted. It's such a beautiful game, though. Lots of fun to play with a group of friends.

Just wanted to get my shout out to the WoW players! Love this game!

I have a 59 Human Rogue named Bailee on the RP server Feathermoon and am a leader in a guild called Sodalitas. If you're ever on Feathermoon, say hi! :)


Also, have a 35 Tauren Shaman, and a 35 Human Warlock on a PvP server, but I stay so busy with the guild and all the storylines I'm involved with, I don't play them much anymore. :)

I'm on Shadow council and also on Scarlet Crusade, both rp servers.

Thinking of rolling on a regular server though, as there are times I just dont have the energy to stay IC.

I'm fairly new but I'm on Argent Dawn and Azjol-Nerub. I feel like I need AA meetings for this one. I'm also addicted to GuildWars at the same time. I have no life.
