old wench, new to the boards

I haven't had much time in the past year to surf the web site or check out the boards. So tonight when I got home from work I happened to stop by, and I've been here for 3 hours. I'm amazed by and proud of how much the guild has grown since it's inception.

I wasn't able to go to faire last year but once due to my job and daughter. I am aching for a fix of faire. I look forward to traveling to some different faires this year and meeting some new wenches.

To all my fellow wenches and friends at Tux, I miss you all and I'll be back with bells and bodice on this year.

As you have noticed,Snipe has reworked the boards and there is plenty of pretty new stuff to play with, and speaking of growth in the Guild, one of my friends just got her ID number and she was over 3000!

Hail and well met! Welcome back to the Guild boards!

I had a similar surprise a couple years ago myself! When I moved to Milwaukee from Penn State and started going to Bristol again, I hardly saw any Lundegaard guilds, and when I did, they were shocked to see me as well. Now, we have a wonderful local that seems to grow everyday and we're trying to have activities outside our "normal" Faire season. It's been great!
