Asheville Viking Fest

Just wanted to poke in and invite you all to the Asheville Viking Festival!

It runs the weekend of April 30- May 1
Lodging available for $59 a night (Holiday Inn Express - really nice one - FREE cookies! :yum:)

Anyone interested??? Bob and I are planning on being there. Apparently Minstrel Woode will be playing at the Stagecoach Pub Saturday night for us (this is a blast folks). A great group of people to hang with! Hope some of you can make it!

Last year was quite wonderful, this year promises to be even better and the food served at the fest totally rocks!!!!!!!

Sounds interesting....I'll have to think on it... on Vikings moving around... Vikings not wearing shirts.... oh wait... That's not what I'm supposed to be thinking about. Sorry, mind's in the gutter again... or did I ever get out? I don't remember. But I'll look further into it and think about going. What's it like and other questions of that sort? Remember I'm new to the midwest faires/festivals and don't know these things. Oh, and I'm single too. Not that that makes any difference.

That's just wonderful. My Ma will help me make garb, but she won't wear it.
I am afraid I won't make it to the Viking festival... it's too far for the moment with so little cash. Sorry. :( You'll have to tell me all about it.

Well we can only hope that there are no food place stories. Seems like we were destined to be attacked in restaurants the other weekend! Crazy in McDs yelling at everyone! Crazy at the Buffett going off because he's afraid he won't get enough food! I tell you, the other weekend must have been for the crazy people to come out whenever we were!
Definetely take pictures and keep an eye on Bob, or you'll get new descriptions of us, when we're alreadymedieval crackers! :lol:
