 Oops! I DID miss that thread - it was from January however. I wonder why they run the eps so far apart from each other, instead of weekly?
This is the first time I have caught the show. Enjoyed the eye-candy immensely - gotta love a show with swashbucklers, tongue-in-cheek humor, Bruce Boxleitner, :swoon: and a bloke dressed up a'la TPB'S dread pirate Wesley who runs around and rogues all the women!

Now see when I was giving it a chance it ran twice a week. The episode that played Sunday at 8 was on again Tuesday at 8. It might have ran again in the week for all I know (you know how these syndicated shows repeat themselves).
Unfortunately...I gave up on it pretty early. Just too damn cheezy for me. They left themselves a HUGE friggin' opening with all the high tech and magic BS. Definately NOT the world created by Dumas.
Then again...even given THAT it could possibly have worked but I just never found myself buying into the characters. You must like the characters or you'll never accept the universe. Probably one of the reasons I've never accepted any Star Trek beyond TNG. Just never gave a damn about any of the other people on the subsequent shows.

Well, I thank you for the heads-up, I won't be disappointed now if future episodes begin to suck. :-D
As far as unbelievable chars whether in tv or movies, I've always been able to suspend disbelief for a long time and I'm not likely to be bothered by Mcguffins and things of that ilk...
