Next Wednedsday my father-in-law, Stan goes in for heart surgery.
About 12 years ago he had a triple bypass done and with a few bumps in the road, he has done very well. Last week he started to have some pain, so checked into the hospital to get some test run. All 3 of his bypasses are blocked, so they need to be redone.
Medical advances have been tremendous, Stan is in better health now than he was 12 years ago and Beaumont is a top notch heart place, so we are all thinking positive and all should turn out well. However, if you could send up a little prayer for Stan, I would appreciate it.
He's my partner in crime, the guy who actually 'gets' Faire in his family, someone I can talk seriously or silly with and I would selfishly like to keep him around.
