women, what do you do, if your husband doesn want to hear when you are upset about something? said it just brings him down.

I have a hard time imaging mine do that (we're just engaged so far, but have lived together for years). If I am upset, or even seem like I might be upset, he drags it out of me because he wants to know if I'm OK and do what he can to help. I do the same for him.

Every relationship is different, of course, but it sounds like he is putting his minor discomfort ahead of caring for you. Maybe he's having problems of his own and is hiding it (possibly from himself as well)? Maybe he is loosing interest in the relationship (I hope not!)?

If I were in your place, I'd find a time to bring it up and discuss it with him. Be understanding of his needs, but also make sure that your needs aren't brushed aside. Mutual caring, respect, and open communication are the best thing you can do to keep a relationship happy and healthy.

Also, until you get this resolved w/ hubby, find friends/family you can lean on. Its awful to be upset and keep it inside.
