GRRRRR

right now I am in Oklahoma/ark in the middle of a ice and rain storm. I have fallen once already right outside the door. the trees are covered in ice (kinda pretty though) and the roads too!

normally you would cuddle up in a chair with a cup of cocoa and read all day. (until the lights go out)

But I have plane tixs to leave out of fayetteville (xna) at 1:15 today. I am closer to ft smith. the roads are ice. noone is going to drive us there. It isn't safe. the airport will be under ice/snow and rain all day. there is a 45 min lull right now but then another storm coming

some flights are cancelled already. I am praying our flights cancels too or we have to pay for new flights with no discount to get home. But until they post the cancel......they wont change the tixs!

grrrrrr. I want to go home but I want to get there in one piece- not a box!!!

i had a feeling and took a chance and called united to try to change flights. they did to thursday (yea!)

as i hung up I got the call saying the flight was canceled. I guess I beat the mass calling by 5 minutes. so now everyone else will be calling to change flights and I beat the rush- WOOT!

I am going back to bed!

That's awesome!

So you won't need my advice on NOT taking the chance to fly standby on another airline. I was trying to get from Knoxville to Milwaukee, but my first flight into O'Hare was cancelled. I was able to switch to Delta flying through Cincinnati instead. So I ended up stuck there for 9 hours, while my luggage got home BEFORE I did!

Like I said before, stay warm! And travel safely!
