Something odd with the View New Posts Since Last Visit

I use this option when I log in, so I don't have to search through each forum looking for new posts. But today, neither the View New Posts Since Last Visit or View Your Posts is working. It gives me an error message with something like "Cannot clear old searches". Can this get reset? Anyone else having this problem?
