Jello for Fling

I found Margarita jello mix
I'm making shots out of it
It sure taste good if you like margaritas. :lol:
also doing blue raspberry ones.

I think there will be way too much fun going on :twisted:

I tried to help with the fun and goodies when I mentioned Pole Pies... but no one took me up on it... I mean with all the talk of tent pitching Pole Pies are a natural dessert...

You take something long and hard and rounded over on one end, say a broom stick or a brand new dowel (about 1-inch dia). You wrap aluminum foil around the rounded end and lightly spray that with cooking spray.

Then you take canned refrigerator biscuits and wrap 1 round of dough around the end of the dowel, making sure to get the seal right so you won't have any leaks.

You then stick the dough wrapped stick near the coals / fire to bake it... like a pie shell. Turning it to bake it evenly.

When it is baked a golden brown, you carefully pull the stick out. Let it cool a little bit, then you fill the shell with cool and creamy pudding, drizzle with ice cream toppings, like strawberry, caramel, chocolate sauce... top with whipped cream, a cherry and you can even include some nuts.

I'm thinking of seeing if anyone wants to do something like that at NYRF some Saturday night.

They are a great dessert made over the campfire. Refrigerator biscuit dough is wrapped around a dowel or broom handle that is covered with aluminum foil. You bake them dough near the coals or flames, being careful not to burn the dough.

When it is cool you fill it with pudding that you can get in the dairy case at the supermarket. Everything is easy to get in the supermarket dairy case and ice cream aisle.

Drizzle with ice cream toppings and whipped cream. These are heavenly.

Thanks Richard :) It's a little closer to my current hair color. If I wasn't so busy sewing I'd take a new pic for the avatar. That one is probably a few months old. Before I did the crazy black and crimson streaked thing.

mmm jello shots. When I was in college we had this thing called Spree Day. The date was supposed to be a secret but everyone would figure it out and plan ahead. They ran through the dorms at 7am with fog horns waking everyone up. Classes were cancelled, bands were booked, trees were TP'd and it was a huge party across campus put on by the administration. Freshman year I made my 151 jello shots and fuzzy navels the night before. The problem was that they woke us up about 2 hours before breakfast would be ready.. all I had in my fridge was jello shots and fuzzy navel. You can see where this is going can't you? They had jello wrestling on the quad that year too. With raspberry jello. Everyone looked like they participated in a massacre. drunken jello wrestling... That was the last truly cool spree day my college had ever had. I've been in love with jello shots ever since. I made about 500 for a housewarming party once and people got pictures of me walking around with about 8 in my hands at a time. eek.

Oh no! It used to be very short. It's currently down around my bra strap. The longest it's ever been. It's a bit shorter in the front but definitely not shorter than the avatar. It hasn't been cut in months.

I am SO EXCYTED!!! I can hardly wait... what a drive though... I just found out were Lancaster realy is...( hey I'm from New York) And I have to say... It will most likely be worth the drive... I am a lil worried though... It will be the first time I am away from my Daughter... hmmm well thats what phones are for I guess. I've been told I'm going a little overboard on my favors. I guess they are much simpler than this. I was just going to make little bows with beads but somehow I've ended up with handsewed ribbon rose like things with beads in the middle on a sheer green ribbon backing with that weird matrix yard I bought the other day. It's taking forever and I keep poking myself with a needle :D ow. like now when I just dropped my hand onto it. hmm.

I'm going to Geauga Lake on August 14th and I want to get out to MIRF for August 21nd to see Lady Sarah and everyone else.

Who wants to go where when? And wasn't there some sort of Sex in the City marathon idea thrown out there?!

People were astounded that I had never seen an uncensored version of Sex in the City. I think they are looking to corrupt me with it :) I've only seen portions of censored episodes so apparently I always miss the juicy parts.

As for when and where, you'll definitely have to come with us :) :)
