Harry Potter Extravaganza in Oak Park, IL

The Magic Tree Bookstore and the Village of Oak Park are pulling out all the stops for the upcoming book release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and it should be bigger and better than last year's.

Diagon Alley will be open July 15, 2005, from 2 pm to midnight. Plus many games and activities for pre-Hogwarts and Hogwarts-aged children (including Quiddich). I am hoping to get the day off from work and should be wandering about all day. If anyone would be interested in joining me, please let me know![/url]

I'll be there starting around 4 and going until it closes (although I do need enough sleep to make it to Faire the next morning).

I will have the dining guide, activity descriptions, and maps with me. I'd love to have 3 volunteers to go with me to carry my other shoulder puppets from Midsummer Knight's Dream (since they weren't able to get a booth together so quickly) for people to look at and touch.
