g'day all!
my name is Arune, i orginated from the states but currently live in NSW Aus. and i'm looking into trying to start a chapter here with some fellow aussie wench wannabes or at least somthing similar, if you have any guidence in the matter or segestions otherwise i'd love to hear em! ta.

I have heard there's another wench lurking somewhere in the deeps of Australia-- have you met any there? Have you got good Faires there?

And why be just a wannabe? You can join the Guild from wherever!

For information about starting a Local, click on "Chapters" in the top banner. Most of the Locals in the States are usually centered around a large Renaissance Faire, although there might be some that aren't. Usually two or more wenches will approach a Faire's Management with the suggestion that having a wenches guild would be a good thing.

Mostly you need a few members and a place to call "home".

gotta ask this one... at a faire 'down under' do you all still speak renspeak? Aussie/English accent... now THATS cool!

No fairs at all! i almost died. though there are rumors of one starting in Sydney come spring! no i've joined the SCA and lovin' it, but its no fair all the same. And someone else said they're others here, though i havnt set any....but i would like to!

hahaha well i suppose everyone does sont they? But in the SCA, no fairs, they do the whole olde english BFA accent but many of them are more convincing at it then iin the sates! :D
