I am not yet in the guild, but have been wenching and raising a ruckus at Bristol for many years. I am on the North side of Chicago, and live with my Rogue and 6 cats. I look forward to getting to know some of you folks a bit better, and possibly joining your raucous sisterhood! Bright blessings to all!

Hopefully my previous post didn't scare you off, but as Madame I have to try to keep us in managements good graces. As you'll read in other posts, we have to follow stricter rules to be allowed to play in Bristol's sandbox. We're slowly adding more and more, but we're all about inuendo here!

There will be plenty of Wenches and Rogues and Mercs to meet your acquaintance on Saturday!

I will only be working from 12 to 5, so if I can get my butt up early enough to get to Faire by 11:15, which I hope to do, I should be able to walk with you (as long as I can get to Medieval Metal by 12)! How long do the walks usually last? I am so pleased that I will have a couple hours to enjoy the Faire before/after work!

How long do the walks usually last?

We muster at the hostel at 11:30 and depart at 11:45. The walks usually last more than 15 mins. so that might be cutting it close. You can always watch part of the walk so that you know how it's done. Then you could join if you have the availability. Hopefully we will have some other activities soon. Please check the local boards. There is more info there about goings on, gatherings, etc.

Yeah...I figured that out about the timing too :? . I plan to ask ye olde boss-lady at MediMetal whether I can maybe work 1-6 instead? or 12:30-5:30 or somesuch. I really hope to be able to walk with you ladies!

The pleasure was all mine! :) I am glad to see you came through Sunday´s 100+ degree heat ok, and without fried brains. Jordan and I had a blast...it was great to hang out with all you folks, and what a cool bar! He is a quiet rogue, to be sure...but he liked it so much I couldn´t get him out of there!

Faire will indeed be awesome this year :D

Recovery from the 115 degree heat index last Sunday continues. I hope to be rehydrated by this upcoming Saturday! Here's hoping the weather cools down!

Yes, last weekend wasn't pleasant (to say the least) :shock: :evil:
Tornado sirens, heavy downpours, and early close...followed by the equivalent of a steam sauna with 90% humidity and 111 degree heat index. Yuck!

Hopefully the remaining weekends will have weather and temperatures closer to normal! And if so, I hope we have enough wenches at the Walk Muster between 11:30 and 11:45 each day so we can Walk!

As always, if you have a special target in mind, please let me or another council member know!
