Home Made Facial Cleanser?

So has anyone ever made their own facial cleansers? I'm looking around online at recipes.. ugh, there are so many! If you have made your own, what was it made of, did you like it? and why? I figure that even if I can't find a recipe I like perhaps I'll find ingredients I like, and I can go from there.

I have a sea salt scrub recipe I really like. Sea salt, honey and almond oil. Use it only once a week for exfoliating. I also have an almond facial scrub recipe. But I don't like it as well. The sea salt scrub works well for an all over body scrub too.

thanks :) I mixed some water, lemon juice, and baking soda together and slapped that on my face. It was nice but maybe too strong for daily use on my skin. I'll have to think of something different.

I actually like clover honey with ground almonds. A little rough exfoliatant, but I don't rub hard. The honey makes your face shine like a new penny. Albeit a little sticky. Rinse off with a warm wet washcloth.
