O.. from someone that is just starting out with the jewelry stuff. What do you use? How to you secure your stands? I am still experimenting with wire and crimps, but I like them best.

Also, what is tiger wire?

Thanks for the compliments, Mairi and Emalia! I've been wroking at it for over a year and it is nice to hear that my efforts have amounted to a presentable product! :)

As far as what I use goes, I just use standard width (.25) wire that I purchase locally and hand-form each loop. I don't use crimps and have never heard of tiger wire or stands...but that's just me! I'm a "learn by doing" kind of gal and haven't really studied and techniques or terminology...I just see something I like and find a way to make it work for me.
There are literally tons of materials and ways to use them - do some searching onling and/or take some classes to learn about different techniques, and you'll discover what works best for you. As with any art, your personal tastes and touches will make everything you create a unique piece that is representative of your individual personality and style. Above all, have fun with it!
