Some things are not meant to be used as entertainment nor to make money off of. I find it distrubing that people are reenacting this event for fun. There is a big difference between reenacting a battle and what they are doing.

 I'm totally speechless on this one.
WAIT,... maybe not!!
Excuse me for asking this but,................
ARE THEY F@#$ING INSANE??
WHO WOULD BE SO INSENSATIVE AS TO EVEN THINK THIS IS OKAY?!?!?!
I'm sorry -- I just can't believe this.
What a sad thing to have this happen.

OMG.....read the mail archives....it gets even sicker...
Actually we have the funding and we are building a couple of towers and a mock-up Pentagon near the Columbine Paintball facility since an overwhelming demand for a 9/11 recreation has been felt. It's going to be up sometime, please be patient.

Why don't we just give them the sick thrill they are looking for and import some live terrorists to make it real....and cleanse society of this group of genes.
Sorry, I never advocate killing, but I am willing to consider a change of stance with this group of "entrepeneurs and clients"

That's disgusting... Seriously disturbed. These people need to see a psychologist. Or better yet, a good ass-kicking.

Well, it's not coming up on InfoSpace or Yellow Pages or any of the other business locators I've tried.
Hopefully it's a joke. Although I had moved by then, I did go to high school in the Boulder area, so Columbine has a special meaning for me, and it would be really sick for people to use such a thing for "training" or recreation.

Um...guys? Hoax.
If it's not on Snopes, do a Google search. This one's been listed in sites like "Museum of Hoaxes" at least since 2003.

Ysobelle, it almost seems worse being a hoax.
Either way, there are just too many sick units in this world.

Funny. Snopes is mentioned and linked to a lot on our boards but I'd never actually gone there until just now when I read Ysobelle's comment.
In just a few minutes of clicking I saw this:
http://www.snopes.com/lost/tarzan.htm
I could NOT believe that. Almost EVERYTHING in that story is WRONG. Burroughs is one of my major favorite writers and I know a ridiculous amount of trivia about him, his life, and his works.
I was like "Man this Snopes place is BULLSHIT!" Then I clicked where it said "More information about this page" at the bottom and got this:
http://www.snopes.com/lost/false.htm
he he
It seems they purposefully put some bullshit stories in there to make the point you shouldn't always automatically believe what people say.
Their point is now well appreciated by me. 8)

You got one of their "Glurg" stories... they also do research on Urban Legends and how quickly they sperad. they once posted a story about the Priate song "16 men on a dead man's chest" that was compleatly false but was reported as TRUE on the Discovery Channel's old Urban Legends show.

me no spel goodly to day! LOL ok fixed.. what I was saying was...
SNOPES also researches Urban Legends and the way the spread to do this they sometimes create their own legends and see how long it takes to get back to them… record time for a “round the world” legend is 22 minutes! They even created a legend about the Pirate song “15 men on a dead man’s chest” that was reported ad true by the Discovery Channel’s old Urban Legend series.
That make more sense??
sorry I'll use the spel-check more often... :(

Hoax or no hoax, it is incredibly insensitive to those whose children were murdered at Columbine, and they should be ashamed to use this as an example in their claim that they are merely attempting to point up a natural human tendency toward gullibility.
Just goes to show how truly SICK people can be.
I'dlike to bitch-slap the person who made this up. Repeatedly.

Ya know the funny thing here is... he's getting just the reaction he's tried for. The "guy" made a website designed to offend and infurate people and boy did he do it well!

The kind of person who finds a parapaligic in runaway wheelchair rolling downhill funny... sadly humor is a matter of taste... Im sure some people find this funny... more's the pitty, Im sure he's even gotten e-mails trying to make reservations to "play" (an even sadder thought) with something as sad as this you have only 2 options give in and do as he expects and send him an e-mail telling him how horrid you find him and his site.. or ignore it and move on to happer things in your life.
