I have been looking and can't find bulk glitter anywhere.

Do any of you lovely ladies (or lads) know anywhere I can find "faerie dust" glitter...at a good price?

I need to get my hands on some in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the help.

Can you tell me what amounts & colors you need? Also, what do you mean, specifically, by :faerie dust" glitter? Is it different from regular glitter?

I fired off an email to Bridget Beadweaver, she and her partner do henna at faire and put glitter over the paste, she should know some sources.................

As for amount...I'm not sure. I have no idea how much a half ounce of glitter amounts to.

Let me tell you what I'm doing with the stuff. I am putting the glitter in cigar shaped containers for "little faeries" to sprinkle around at a party. I am assuming I am going to need a bunch of the stuff. *shrugs shoulders* I'm just not sure.

I don't care about the color much since most of the containers are white. Some are blue and one looks like stone.

As for "faerie dust"....it is just the really fine glitter.

I know someone I can check with this weekend at Tux. I'll let you know what I find out.

Glitter, eh?

I taught Art for several years, and I think Oriental Trading to has reasonably priced, bulk glitter. Another option includes Lakeshore Learning...they both probably have websites, and I know they have catalogs. Or try an arts&crafts store, like Michael's.

Hope this helps! :)

That sounds like fun. Just make sure it isn't *too* fine. Glitter is pretty sharp stuff, so you don't want it light enough to stay airborn where someone small might inhale it.
