Completely Pissed off Rant

ok, so after all that getting ready for Tux, spending every dime to my name to get my garb in time...the bi**h who was driving left me home.
i cried all morning. i havent missed the opening of the gates in 9 years. guess i was never meant to make it to 10.
hopefully i'll be able to see some of you later on this season.

it definately wasnt a miscommunication. we were supposedly renting a car to go up, but last night she said she couldnt rent the car, and that we wouldnt be able to go. thismorning, i found out she went anyway. she took the money that was supposed to pay for the rental, and took the port authority bus to faire.
i hate people. i hate them with a passion.
i probably will not be able to make it at all for the rest of the season, thats another reason why it was so important to me to be there today.
Elsbeth, please say hi to everyone for me tomorrow, and drink a cup of meade for me.

NYKitten, if I were only a bit closer. I would make sure that you were able to make it to Faire tomorrow. But, alas, I live in Texas & you in NY. I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. Hopefully someone will be able to make a side trip to pick you up so you can go. Just remember, the person who was supposed to take you will get her own in the end. Karma always works that way. Kitten, Didn't see the rest of this thread until AFTER I got back from TUX, so I didn't tell anyone what happened..... But it looks like you will still have an opportunity to go, courtesy of some genuine friends! I am planning to go back at some point, and would love to meet you then, if schedules coincide!!

I'm glad there are so many folks willing to take you to faire. If I were out in your neighborhood, I'd offer as well. I'm so sorry you had to sit there and cry. That sucks.
