I was a big fan off his. I soo sad to hear off his passing.

I hear the eulogising this morning, and was quite saddened. He was far too young, and too good at what he did.

I caught a repeat (obviously) of him on Larry King last night. I was very impressed.

He pointed out the fact that people today don't understand the news is always biased. He was saying there's news that's left, right, up, down, all over the place and as long as people are aware of that...it's OK and they can decide who and what to believe themselves.

I just thought it was cool for him to specifically point that out.

He was one of the reportes that inspired me out off high school to go into journalism. ( once I found out how biased and that most off what you see is the opinion off what the news station thinks you should hear I changed my mind) He was an awsome journalist and will be missed.

He was a wonderful reporter with a lot of class - I was so sad to hear of his passing this morning :(

So sad to hear he passed away. :cry: He was always so suave and well-spoken - I think it was Tom Brokaw or Dan Rather that said he could speak so eloquently and easily, as if it were on a teleprompter, when a crunch-time situation would happen on air. I think what sticks in my mind, is how during 9-11, his voice was a sea of calm, even while reporting the chaos in NY, DC & PA. May he now rest awhile, so that he may once more live again, laugh again and love again.
