Fundraiser idea for the whole guild

What do you think about getting out rogues to send in photos (fully garbed, of course...I love a guy in garb) for a wench's dream calendar. I, ahem, well, I, of course, would be willing to serve the difficult task of helping to choose the 12 guys....Anyway, I figure if we get a confirmed order before hand we can donate the profits to the "Save the Bobbies" or whatever else. I'm sure the rogues would be willing to help save the boobies. :D

Seeing as how it is late in the year already for a 2003 calendar, it would necessarily be a 2004 calendar...

i likes the idea.... anybody want to volunteer to approach the Rogues about it?

How about instead of 12 guys, we do 12 groups...as in NY Rogues, TX Rogues, Georgia Rogues.....

and it could be a 14 month calander, beginning in Dec. of 02 and ending Jan. 04....I always liked those!

And why not have us girls do the same thing....or maybe ours could benefit prostate cancer...

I like the idea of each local or area of the country sponsoring several rogues to appear in the calendar. Twelve group shots of several rogues each . . . yum!

That sounds like a great Idea. Both groups should do it.... and we maybe we can add some history or bio's of the faire that the groups are from...

I think its a wonderful idea...lots of handsome TX Rogues down here..

From what I've seen, we should be able to sell them for around $15 and make about $5 off of each one. Whoo hoo...this sounds like fun.

In actuality, we have talked about this for a long time, and I plan to bring it up to our illustrious scribe sometime in the near future. In the meantime, feel free to start collecting pictures; just make sure you get contact information from any photographed Rogue.

I am probably telling you something you already know but, you need a signed models release for each rogue who's picture you are using. Nasty things can happen without those.

I think you can find the wording of a proper release online.

The rogues seem willing...and one has even mentioned a wench calendar for male drooling pleasure. Think we can help them with that, girls? I thought so. Look around at your pictures...start thinking about what we want to show the guys. :)

Slow down ladies - the ideas are great, but a great deal has to be worked out before this can happen, and none of it can happen without Lars' permission.

I hope to be able to meet with him sometime next week in order to discuss many aspects of Guild business; I will be certain to bring this up. But we should all be aware that this is a relatively expensive project that wil have to be planned out very carefully.

Awesome idea!! Also was thinking that if you cannot get the individuals (rogues/wenches) to sign off for the photo use, how about a calendar with photos from various RenFaires around the country?? Photo contests could take place at each faire and the winners from each would, obviously, be printed in the calendar - good (free?) advertisement for each different faire/photographer, right? Just a thought - I'de buy either (rogues or faires) to put in my support!! Just tell me when and where to get in line to make my purchase! *L* {hugs} cc
