Anybody ever play this? I had my eye on it for about 3 years until I was finally able to acquire the Platinum edition the other day for about $10. I liked the concept of it and everything I read, and now that I was familiar with MMORPGs thanks to WarCrack, I wanted to give ti a shot.

The thing is...I can't enjoy it. It jerks around and acts as slow as molasses. I can't have anything else going, and I have it set on the lowest possible screen resolution. It's not going. I was wondering if anyone else experienced a similar issue. It doesn't make sense that a brand new game like WarCrack would fly on my machine, but a 3 year old piece of software would drag.

Also, any other reviews on it? Anybody love it? Anybody hate it? I want to know if it was cool to play, so I'm not wasting my time trying to get this thing patched and letting it take up my hard drive space.

While we haven't experienced the lagging on our new comp, hubby and I did on our older one (only 2 years old). It plays fine now, even on dialup. We really like the game, hubby plays it more than I do. And the platinum edition only came out last year, so you were very lucky to have snagged one for 10 we paid full price only two months ago.
