Last weekend

Well, the time has come for the l;ast weekend. Some good things, some "eh"--but I'll miss it!
Here's hoping our final 2 days are sunny and cool!

Things I will miss:

Walkabout to say good morning (even if it doesn't happen until 5:00!)
Heavy-duty flirting with those who A) realize it's not going anywhere, and B) realize where the line between flirting and harassment is
Good live music and musicians who appreciate honest feedback
Archery practice (like I really need another expensive hobby)
Hanging out with really good friends
Fencing in front of an appreciative crowd
Watching the same show over and over and seeing how it improves from week to week
Well-done items from the Society of Random Announcements
Going to dinner at the end of the day with good friends
Patrons who dress their pets in garb

Things I won't miss:

Snot-nosed brats who don't think safety instructions apply to them
Asking teenagers to please not practice swordfighting in the lanes, even if it is a Barbarian Boffer (sheesh!)
Packing up in the dark
Never having a weekend day to myself
The Renaissance Faire Greatest Hits Soundtrack from Hell (Drunken Sailor, Haul Away Joe, Blooming F-ing Heather, and all those other songs that were my favorites too until I had to hear them, sung badly, 5 times a day!!!!!ONE!!)

Drunks who think that wearing a Wenches Want Me t-shirt makes it true
