What's Nikki been up to?
Though I'd share this-- this is what's eaten my life the last few months, and is one of the other reasons I wasn't in my shop this season.

The gown is gorgeous! That is a pitiful word to describe that dress, but I can't find a better word.

I started calling it the Dress of Damocles in the end. It has about 1,500 garnets and citrines stitched to the skirt and the cathedral-length train and veil. The veil has about 20 hand-sewn lace motifs, cut individually and painstakingly. The sleeves are hand-dyed, hand-painted silk chiffon. She looked radiant. I came back to the hotel and crashed like a bad Fox sitcom.
The reception was fun, though. They had a hypnotist. Grace Hardgrave makes, like, the cutest zombie ever.
