sewed jewels! WOW Fabu;luous!

I did a multi sized pearled doublet,sleeves and forepart of a wedding dress with sleeves once- ONCE! It wasn't a pattern on the fabric to follow so i was tacking tissue to the fabric and sewing through it and then ripping it away. ARGGGGGG
This hallows I did a black velvet dress with austrian rhinestones in graded sizes and colors up the front. This bride had a lace over the velvet forepart so i could use the pattern of the lace- she wanted glued stones not set and it still took FOREVER.

I am amazed!!! I want to be you when i grow up!

We used Jewel-Tac on Foxglove's gown for the Swarovski crystals. And that's great, but the silk can't be washed, and the Jewel-Tac can't be dry-cleaned.

Sigh.

So yeah, this time, each gem was hand-stitched. Yikes.

i used jewel-it. after 10 days you can hand wash....

wish there was a dry cleanable glue
