    Re: Actual Employment listing

*rotfl*Perhaps "Acceptional" customer service skills have to do with "directing incoming visitors where to go"... I can think of a few good destinations... ::devilmaycry::

Re: what was worst gift you have recieved....

Wow, nothing will beat divorce papers!

This one was pretty bad though.

Book 2 of a 3-book trilogy. When I didn't read, or own, book 1. *rotfl*

    Re: BOA rant

It must be making them money, or they wouldn't be doing it. Perhaps the number of actual defaulting "good" customers is really quite small, compared to the extra revenue they get from the higher...

What's not to get. They're making money and they just don't care. About customers or employees. I suppose if something effected their bottom line in some way, THEN they might care...

    Re: BOA rant

Chase. I think it costs me $80 per year, but calculating out the difference I'd pay with the elevated interest rate, it saves me far more than that, and like I said, they can't touch my rate. Not...

    Re: BOA rant

I have managed to avoid this by paying-yes paying, an annual fee to have my interest fee at prime plus 1%. If you are carrying a heavy balance, it's worth the fee. Not worth it if you pay your...

    Re: Air Force New Policy

I don't have a problem with it, either, but I do have a problem with these "caught in the middle" people. To have the tattoo approved, have a delayed enlist date, and then have the thing UN-approved...

Re: Worst boss on the planet

::yay:: I think you were generous to give her a week!

I hope she's not too nasty during it, pays you promptly, and you get out of there easily.

    So happy for you!

Re: Worst boss on the planet

I agree with DaB on the writing it down/written requests thing. I was in a similar situation with an awful boss/bosses, and that is what I attempted. The response I got was "we can't work that way,...

Re: New Mamogram guidelines are Dangerous

Sure they will, as a MINIMUM standard of care. They are free to provide more than that, and I'm still not convinced that this means they won't approve requests for more frequent mammos.

Re: New Mamogram guidelines are Dangerous

I wouldn't say that the old guidelines give a false sense of security, any more than the new ones do. They are saying that the number of false positives, and the cancers that they find that are too...

Re: New Mamogram guidelines are Dangerous

If you EVER think you have a lump, it would surely be covered. I've had mammos in my 30's for that reason, absolutely covered by insurance.

Also, if you are at high risk for breast cancer, you...

Re: New Mamogram guidelines are Dangerous

    On reviewing the article:

I think that part of the frustration stems from the fact that there is no replacing mammograms and breast exams with a "better" or "more advanced" screening tool. If...

Re: New Mamogram guidelines are Dangerous

    *sigh* I would hope not.

Because it doesn't save "as many" women's lives compared to the number of mammograms given? That's just sad. I will gladly take a false-positive result, and an...

I've bought a couple things as well, and have been very happy. One in-stock item and one custom. Both small things ($50 or less). No need for conflict resolution, though.

    Re: Interesting NYT op-ed.

I don't think "feminism" itself "went wrong." It just ran smack up against patriarchal society. The basic underlying system didn't change all that much.

By the way, I'm thinking we're ALL most...
