God. no......been one of those terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weeks for me.

The mission,. should I choose to accept it, :D is to start on Monday. Assuming I make it through the weekend. That's the plan anyway.

But SO GLAD to hear you're almost through with phase one!

It's been hard sometimes and easy others. Really, I've been so busy with the new job, the three kids, the house, pets, holidays, etc., I've hardly taken time to figure out what I'm doing. One of these days...

Yeay! We'll check in! I've never done this diet before--I'm a lifetime WW, but it doesn't make any sense to me anymore. I gained a ton (well, not really a ton) this faire season too. So many ciders, so little time!

Gwenyver--the SB diet is based on glycemic index. I'll try and post more details later, or PM you if you're interested. I don't know that much about it yet. I'm trying to get a grocery list together for tomorrow. It's been the week from h@#$, but I'm beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

As you can probably gather from my siggy... I love the cider.

In 2005, I managed to diet/exercise myself from 255lbs (I'm 6' tall) and a size 40 pants to a low of 217 (unfortunately, I'm back up to 230) and a size 36. I had thought about doing the SB thing or the Atkins thing, but... I'm too much a meat and patatoes guy. Not to mention the cider!
