I was actually one of the last kids in my class to give up on Santa. I specifically remember arguing with everyone about it one year.
Later on after the argument out at recess, a girl who I had a crush on (but could never get the courage to talk to) came up and told me she still believes too.
Made for a nice Christmas that year.

My mom tells me this story, I don't remember it, and I never remember truly believing in Santa, with that childlike innocence and faith.
Apparently, when I was 5, a Jehovah's Witness told me that Santa wasn't real, and that I and my parents were going to hell cause I believed and they told me. Which, ya know, kinda destroyed the whole Santa thing for me, and I promptly went home and told my siblings. Luckily, they were young enough to not remember (they were both younger than me.) I have done my darnedest to make sure that my youngest brother, who is 9 this year, believes for as long as possible.
