Default What kind of music do you listen to...

Ok.. This isn't a quiz, but just a curiosity question..

what kind of music do you listen to??

I personally listen to many kinda, everything pretty much except Opera.. I listen mostly to country. This started because the country stations 1. Have fewer commercials and 2. Play music in the morning, I think that talk radio belongs on AM stations and music belongs on FM stations..

A good friend will come and bail me out of jail...but, Bonnie will be sitting next to me saying, "Damn...that was fun!" With Nikki on the other side trying to squeeze out between bursts of laughter, "Well, that didn' t work out how I thought it would!" and Fallon sitting at the end still drunkenly singing "Roll Your Leg Over" while trying not to snarf!

All depends on my mood...I listen to everything from Eminem to Jazz...and some operas...I really enjoy old blues from the 20-30's and big band as well...but have need of salsa on occassion too...too much good music in the world to choose from so I try it all

I mostly listen to alternative, both new and classic. I also listen to classical music to relax, and lots of old blues, from BB King to Billie Holiday.

I listen to no rap/hip hop, very little Top 40, and very little country. There just isn't a lot in those genres that appeal to me.

Classical across its spectrum (early music, romantic, baroque, etc.), including opera.
    Rock and roll.
    Soundtracks.
    Folk music.
    A bit of jazz.
    Very little country.
No (c)rap, no hip-hop, no modern Top 40.

At work, classical because that's the only commercial free station I can get... In my car, the jazz and traffic station. At home, extremely eclectic. A lot of Celtic folk and rock, blues, acid rock, about everything but country and rap.

Pretty much anything that isn't gangsta rap, hip-hop, or any music containing yodeling or chanting.

I also won't listen to house or techno unless I'm dancing in a club or working out maybe.

Not a big fan of R&B either, but there is some of it I like.

Living on Long Island I guess it's funny that I like country music so much, but I think it's because I don't belong here. I belong out west.

I listen to almost anything and everything. I'd have to admit Opera is the only thing I don't listen too. Not that I don't appreciate it, but I can only take it in small doses.

Mostly it's what I hear on the "Oldies" station at work so it's a range from the 50's to the 80's. Yes ladies in the Big Apple the oldies station is playing Wham and Cyndi Lauper already. Oddly enough it's what I'll put on when I'm bored with my CD's at home too.

A couple of years ago my brother a Roadie/sound tech finally gave up on piking on my musical taste. The "Puriest" aka snob in him finally learned to respect the fact that I like it all.

I listen to alternative/heavy rock music mostly. I also listen to some country music also. I am not a fan of rap or hip hop music.
Now when I am at faire I love to listen to all sorts of faire related music.
Weather it's a singing group like the Corsairs (they rock!) or a music group like Owain or Minstrosity, I love it all.
