    Default New band promo

Hi. I'm just plugging a new band that I just discovered. I really like 'em, so I'm going to try to spread the word, and hopefully give 'em more fans, more revenue, and more support so they can afford to produce even more CD's.

The band name is called Flyleaf. It, to me, is a mix of Avril Lavigne-type vocals, Evanescence-deep motivations and subjects for the songs, and a harder-rock band providing background music.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flyleaf is the Wikipedia article for them. Very informative.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacey_Mosley is Wikipedia's article on the lead singer. That's where the majority of the meanings for the song come from, and unfortunately an increasing number of people can relate to her background.
    http://www.flyleafmusic.com/ is the band's homesite.

I went to their website. They sound like an interesting listen. I'll have to go to one of the stores the site suggests and get their album.

Thanks for the heads-up on this up and coming local band.
    Blessed be,

Fraser: Ah. Where I come from, we don't trust a man who leaves the house without a knife, a compass and some beef jerky.
