I'm re-reading the LotR series... namely because now that I've seen the second movie, I want to figure out what the ending was again... ;)

    Default Winter Reading...

    Hi ladies!

I'm reading a collection of interviews with Edward Gorey, one of my FAVORITE illustrators/storybook gurus.

    It's called Ascending Peculiarity.

    Hmmm...Gashlycrumb Tinies as Emoticons?
    Must ponder for future website

I'm reading a series of archeological mysteries by Lyn hamilton - they're set in present day, but it takes her all over Mexico, Scotland, and other interesting places. Other than that, I'm re-reading a lot of histerical romances - totally mindless, but a good way to relax.

Default Who has time to read??? :)

I have actually just finished a Tony Hillerman novel, his latest, I think, The Wailing Wind. It's short compared to a few of his previous novels, but I think this one was just geared more towards character development than any true mystery.

Character development seems to be a theme in my most recent reading list because I previously to Tony Hillerman, just finished P is for Peril which was still a good book, but a lot of character development.... oh well. :)

I am now starting to look at getting eBooks for my handheld.... They've got new books as well as a LARGE collection of not so recent books! Not quite a good as going to the bookstore, but a bit more convenient, especially right now with the traffic around my favorite stores being a bit, um... shall I say NUTS?????

I'm going to also pay the extra $9 to be able to read them at my PC as well as the handheld.... :) Not too bad for those days where the eyes are just toooooo tired to read the itty bitty screen of the Palm Pilot!

I've read a couple of mysteries lately, but it's usually the fantasy fiction that really gets me. The first books I'm getting for my soon to be new eBook reader is a set by Laurell K Hamilton. One of my good friends recommended to her books to me. The Heroine of the books is a Vampire Hunter (not to be confused with Slayer, although they have lots of those books to download as well!).

Good reading to One and All! ;)
