WenchCon?

I'm sure this has been kicked around before, but I'm just curious how come we don't have some sort of WenchCon once every few years or so?
I mean, I realize that we travel and such to each other's 'home faires' and part of this whole gig is getting to dress 'funny' and play at said faires....
but a lot of why we do this is because of the friendships and ties that form once we've joined. I realize that there's only a handful of us who regularly play on the boards here, but there's how freakin many of us registered to the guild now? Even if just 100 of us showed up, that'd be pretty damn freakin cool....and if they happened to bring their Rogue's along..well....we wouldn't complain too much, I don't think....

But seriously, wouldn't it be great fun to all take a week's vacation and go to WenchCon '08 (or whenever)? After all, if Trekkers can dress funny at *their* cons, why couldn't we?

Anyway, I'm sure it's totally impractical for any number of reasons, but I was just curious what ya'll thought, if it's been tried and doomed to NEVER AGAIN, or if there's just no interest in that sort of thing.

i think the cruise idea is good but amite expensive. Cheaper to get a hotel in vegas (hooters! AHAHAHA LOL) or maybe someplace by a amusement park.

I know there is a Goth group in california that does 'Bat's day' in the park at Disneyland.
I know disney is picky about "costumes" but I am sure we could get away with bodices. We could critique the costumes on the staff! LOL

I am sure there are places for- "wenches gone wild"
How about going to raging waters (from bill & ted movie) in our bloomers? that is in san diamas and close to lots of stuff too including a hot tub park
