we have several groups of motercycle gangs that hang at the sportsbar across the street on fridays from my work. Great bikes, always nice and they buy my motercycle & pirate santa hats to go on thier helmets at xmas...



then there is tonight when all the teenage skateboarders who think they are all hot poo come in with thier girls and make stupid jokes about the herbs. yeah- i've never heard that one before- now get out.

I would take the bikers over them anyday.

In my personal experience, I have found that most biker "clubs" will not mess with you if you do not mess with them. Don't know about these Christian ones, or the Banditos specifically, don't have those where I come from. You CAN get messed up if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, and get caught up in the middle of something, though...

I always said if I broke down on the side of the road and a biker stopped and a flashy guy in a Beemer stopped to help, I'd probably say "thanks but no thanks" to the Beemer guy.

I too have also found that "bikers" in general don't tend to instigate - they will defend - mightily - but not instigate with the general population. Now among each other that's something else....and street gangs are worse. Of course where I grew up it was the KKK guys that were the meanest in general (yes, how thrilling that my county was the KKK capital of the world at that point and no I don't live in the "south". )

I worked with a Warlock who was a big sweet teedy bear (all 6' 5" and 350 pounds of him) who used to scold me for trying to reach things on shelves I couldn't. He'd say "now Miss Lisa, what have I told you? you let me do that." I also now know how to get eternal protection from any member of the Warlocks....

What gets me in the article is that the Christian gang was charged with attempted 1st degree murder - not just assult, which says they have evidence of a plan to knowingly go and engage the Hell's Angels with the intent to kill. This was not just a drunken bar room fight.

Then they need to rethink what 'Being Christian' means to them.

However, being in a biker group like HIM (Hogs In Ministry) also does not mean you are automatically a 'good guy' who will always follow the Christian way. There's alot of church going people who are sitting in the pew on Sunday and committing illegal and immoral acts the rest of the time.
