I posted this in the TX area, but know that this is much greater than a local issue. For those of you familiar with this shop, you know what a real tragedy this is...

Dear Community,

Please read and pass this message on to your other Wiccan lists.

The Wiccan owned Devonshire Incense Company completely and utterly
burned to the ground last night just outside of Smithville, TX.
James Hershberger, or Hersh to his friends and Lord Garanhir to his
Wiccan community, escaped with some first and second degree burns on
his face and hands. However, the entire shop and inventory of
insense, resins, soaps, lotions, etc., was a total loss.

Hersh (62 and a former chemistry professor at Iowa State University)
has no clothing and no beddding. He wears a mans 34-36 waist pant
and size large shirts. He needs BOTH mundane and magickal or
rennaisance clothing!

OTher needs are:
1) Bamix type wand or stick hand held blenders (need several!)

2) Pot holders

3) Kitchen towels

4) Kitchen aid stand mixer (industrial or home&either is fine)

5) Cleaning supplies sponges, rags, buckets, etc.

6) Candy thermometers for making liquid soap

7) Funnels

Graduated cylinders

9) 5 gal buckets with lids that fit tight

10) Electric meat grinders (to grind resins, etc.)

11) Old sturdy metal window screens (to dry incense sticks on)
They had ones that were 16 x 5

12) 10" x 14" x 12" (apx) rubber maid clear plastic tubs with
white lids that have clips at each end (can find at Home Depot)

13) HOME DEPOT GIFT CERTIFICATES are an excellent idea!

14) Twin size sheets and pillow cases and blankets for Hersh

Please help if you can. It would be wonderful if you need soap,
lotion, balms, perfume oils, or incense for you to go online and
place an order (however big or small) at www.incense.net. These
folks need to know they will have business to come back to.
Anything you order will no be charged to your card until the item is
made and shipped (which may be a month or more.)

Blessings,
