My apologies to those who would see this as crossposted spam, however
it is something very near and dear to my heart...
As some of you may be aware of, the International Wenches Guild
42 is going to be participating in the MS Walk on April 25, in
Annapolis, Maryland! Yes, we have actually
"Team Wench!" This is actually our fourth year in participating
MS Walk! As in past years, Team Wench also includes several men
know Wenches who are near and dear to their hearts. Several of
local wenches (including myself) have this potentially
disease, and we're determined to stamp it out!
This year marks ten years since my diagnosis… And in
that date, I'd like to raise at least ten times what I raised
first year of walking in the MS Walk! My first year, I
the walk through Liberty State Park, and I raised just over
year, I managed to raise over $1350 (nine years), and this
like to top $1500!
As stated in the MD Chapter webpage:
"Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease of
nervous system. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the
or severe paralysis or loss of vision. Most people with MS are
diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40, but the unpredictable
physical and emotional effects can be lifelong. The progress,
and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be
but advances in research and treatment are giving hope to those
affected by the disease.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to ending
devastating effects of multiple sclerosis."
