Default Help! Where do I get hair sticks?

Ok y'all, I remember about um, a year and a half ago, a conversation about hair sticks--also known as hair crack. I bought some and LOVE THEM of course, but I've been fighting the addiction ever since. I'm about to give in, but can't find the info now and I can't seem to access the archives with my computer (grrrrr microsoft). Help! I need my hair crack!

Most bead stores will sell the plain sticks to decorate if you're feeling crafty...I've actually made some neat ones with danglies and whatnot. The undecorated sticks will often have holes drilled into the end so all you have to do is put the beads of your choosing on a bead pin (also available at most bead stores) then superglue the pin inside the stick....fun stuff!

    Default I sell/make hairsticks

I make and sell hairsticks myself. They are mostly "bone" or wood - the wood ones are longer. I can do many colors and styles. I have not set up a web page to sell them on, at least not yet (heck, haven't had time to update my PERSONAL page in about 2 years! Anywho, drop me a line and make sure you put hairsticks in the subject - I get so MUCH junk. Prices are generally about 10-20 dollars depending on the style. That of course is for a set of 2 sticks. Hope to hear from you soon. I can take pics if you like also, but let me know what you want so I can narrow it down!

Also, I appologize if this isn't the place to "market" myself - I must admit that I forget all the rules and regs about that on the boards. If needed you may remove the post.

    Thanks!

I wear thin, little paint brushes in my hair.

Clean ones, usually, but I have been known to tuck a "loaded" one up there while in the throes of painting.

Check out local costume jewelry stores. We have one called Claire's that usually has quite a selection of plastic & wood sticks.

Also Morgan Reed has GREAT wooden hair items. All guaranteed for life. I had a wooden comb break, sent it back about 2 yrs after I bought it with no receipt and got a replacement no questions asked. They're wonderful!
