Kerrville Music Festival, Weekend of 6/11-6/13.

I will be visiting Kerrville, Texas for the Kerrville Music festival over that weekend. Any wenches want to road trip with me? DaVinci's Notebook will be playing at that festival, and after that time, they will no longer be touring. So this'll be your last chance to see them for a long, long time

If any wenches would be interested in a) road-tripping down there Saturday, 6/12 and tent-camping overnight and coming back on 6/13 and b) great music to be had at a low price (I'll check the website for specifics, but it's $5 per person to camp. I believe festival tickets are $10/person, but, again, I'll have to check. More to come later.) Please PM, email or call me if you would be interested in going. I'll be going either way, but I'd love it if some of my lovely Wench sisters would like to go along, too. :)

Wish I could - but Herself's birthday is Sunday, and we're having her party on Saturday. Much Housecleaning goodness is going on right now - next weekend is Arlington, so it's out.....yea for holidays!

I'm not sure if I'll be going since I have to be to work at 7am on sunday morning. However I live in San Antonio which is only an hour or so away if anybody would like to stay with me instead of camping overnight. PM me and I'll give you my contact info if so

OH MY GOD! I LOVE Kerrville!!! I was down there for opening weekend, Memorial day weekend. If I had the money I would SO be there with you! Especially since I love DaVinci's Notebook.

I envy you, its so much fun there! Make sure after the shows are over for the evening, to do some roaming around to some of the campfires/camps. Sometimes the best music can be found after hours. Of course, I'm assuming you haven't been there before, but if you have, then you already know all this.

Another little hint, if this is your first time after all. Take a swimsuit and some sunscreen and take yourself down to the river during the hot part of the day. Freeman Crossing on the Medina is about 5 miles or so (VERy approximate!) South on 16. It sure does make it bearable to be in the Texas heat when you are soaking your toes in the cool spring fed river!

Actually, this will be my first visit to KFM, so I'm quite excited. I'll definitely take my zils and go hang out in the camping area too. After DVN, of course.
