All target correspondence is to go to TargetWench at yahoo dot com Right now that email is handled by Flo (AKA MVC, Mistress Von Cleavage, Wench #2529, etc.)
There are openings for one or possibly two targets per day of faire on
which a Wench Walk or Bring is not happening. (Those days are Sunday
9/5 & Saturday 10/16.) This # can grow if we have wenches to do the wenchings.
All request must be made at least ONE WEEK or more prior to the wenching date. No begging. No sob stories. You may try a bribe, it won't work but please try. :)
I am going to ask all wenches asking for a target wenching to remember that we need wenches to do these wenchings. So if you ask for a target wenching please try to come to other target wenchings.
Place/Time: The default muster point will be the Dragon Inn, since most folks are there at 11 for the informal meet’n’greets anyway, might as well kill 2 birds with one stone. Start mustering at 11:00 on Saturdays,and 11:30 on Sundays and we will leave to meet the target 15 miutes after muster and lock & load, or have the target brought to us. These times will give you time to meet and talk with other wenches, and give others a little more time to get ready and be there. We may end up moving this to a later time and/or place, depending on turn outs and the target and conflicts with scheduled performances.
- If a different time is needed (due to performance or work schedules,
etc.) all changes must be cleared one (1) week (or more, not less) before the wenching is to take place.
Any tangible favors (roses, chocolate, etc.) are the responsibility of the Target Requester. The Requester is also responsible for the transportation of said items to the muster area 30 minutes prior to the wenching. (Now they don’t have to sneak the items themselves, but have to arrange for *somebody* to sneak them in.)
The Requester is also responsible for providing some sort of compensation for the Guards of the Wenching. (Chocolate, bottle of ice water, etc.)
The Requester need not be a Wench. I’d prefer an email to TargetWench at yahoo dot com , but I will except requests at faire, as long as it’s at least one (1) week before said target, and the day is available.
Every Thursday I’ll try to post what is happening for that weekend. I will also try to post them at our hostel for those who could not see them on the computer.
When requesting a hit, please give:
-Your name & contact info (both for before the faire & how to find you that day. If you have a cell, please give me the # so I can contact you if needed at faire.)
- Target’s info (name & other info – Please give a description as I will not remember the person's name even after meeting them. But I will have it with me on paper.) Please remember if they were targeted last year they can not be targeted this year, but on wench walks they are fair game.
- Date Requested (If an alternate date is okay, please state so when making the request.)
- Why? – not necessary, but helpful when plotting
Please note: the targets should be of legal age 18 or above please.
On the flip side, The availability of R-rated wenchings (For example: all shown bare skin on a kilt wearing Scotsman) is not assured at this point in time. Please consult with me about specific requests.
I’m also willing to help plot. (Wink-wink nudge-nudge Say no more!)
I should be at faire everyday, mostly at the White Hart. If I am not at faire I will try to find someone to take over for me that day. If I have not made plans for another person to take over for me please contact the Madame, the Vice or the Dame that day only. And only if it can not wait until you can contact me. Again No Last Minute Target Wenchings Please.
Please remember I am new to doing this, but I feel I am up to the task of taking on this job.
