    Default Bodice E-mergency.

Ok folks, I was just wonderin' if you knew a reputable place to find a ready made bodice that laces up the front.

I only have a back lacer, and my new job wants me to dress up, and I cannot dress myself on a daily basis!

    Any Suggestions?

The site is called The Lady and the Fool. When I have purchased bodices, I have gotten them from here for about $80.

Here's something that's a bit of work...but can be done without a lot of expense. I don't know if they're still out there but Butterick patern P413, McCalls 4107, Simplicity 0653 or 9246 are patterns w/front lacings. So if you want to make them, I know that the McCalls pattern was out last year. Hancock Fabrics is having a sale Aug 31-Sept 5th...tons of stuff on sale. McCalls patterns for $1.99. And w/Halloween coming up that means that there's probably lots of newer patterns too.

I work at a costume shop actually! A halloween store. It is either dress up everyday or wear a boring purple T-Shirt.

    Which would you choose.

Thanks for the suggestions--I am going to check them out.

I'll second the Odd Bodkin vote for a good basic one that's not outrageous in price. Also check out their ebay auctions - seller id is odd_bodkin. It's a wench owned business (well Liam isn't one but he does appreciate wenches )
