So...what does everyone do to celebrate Halloween in their respective cosmologies?
I've assimilated some of the Mexican Day of the Dead stuff in to my workings, in that I leave a lantern out for 3 days in the evening to guide the dead home.
I also prepare a sort of Dumb Supper, where I fill a plate with foods like apples, bread and butter, a pomegranate (ALWAYS a pomegranate, like the symbolism!) that sort of thing. I leave it out in the evening. Usually in the morning it's picked clean, probably by local raccoons but I'd like to think the dead at least got first crack at the cookies.
And, of course, costumes and candy. Always.
Let's hear some other traditions! :)
