I will be making my first pirate outfit for my daughter Jaz. Her daughter will be dressed as a parrot.......a molting parrot at that.
The parrot costume is a bit problematic, but I'm sure I'll figure out something.
I'm also hoping to make them both faerie outfits. Jaz has a couple of faerie dresses, but is wanting a new one and baby Gabrielle needs everthing new since she is only 6 months old.......and she will have a wee wench outfit also.
I may get around to making myself a new outfit.

I hadn't really thought about it hmm. . .but if I do make or get anything it will have to be "scorching hot weather appropriate" . So anything "abbreviated" I'm not talking about running around naked, but, breathable fabrics, no layering and potential to show a little skin. . . . the next two faires I have are Excalibur (pretty moderate temperatures) and "Saharaborough" which I'm working. . . sooooooooo yeah comfort is king.

There's nothing wrong with them a spoonful of peanut butter and a piece of duct tape wouldn't fix.
Hoping to make some new chemises and try my first bodice (for me). I've made 2 but small tiny bodices for my pre-teen nieces. This will be my first attempt at supporting the girls! :)

Let me think....
I am currently working on an Italian Day Dress, which is almost finished. Then I plan on making a couple new chemises, two or three viking tunics and a pair of viking-ish pants. ( I love when I find good fabric at Wal-Mart!) Then a bodice and a couple of cotton skirts...not like I need them...I just need some cooler things for 90 degree days at festival, since I work there and all. You know the drill.![]()

Any easy patterns/tips you (or anyone) would recommend for the Italian persona?
