Default A Book review by Eric..(yes I can read...)

Ok I usually don’t go around telling folks “Wow you’ve gotta read this book!! It’s sooo good!”
Well this is one time I will…
I am just about finished with “The Knights Next Door – Everyday People Living Middle Ages Dreams” by Patrick O’Donnell
And wow! If your into the SCA this is one for your library! It’s not a “story” like “Murder at The War” by Mary Monica Pulver (now know as Knightfall) that has element of the SCA in it it’s a real life depiction on one persons journey thru the SCA. Patrick O’Donnell is a reporter who covered Pennsic and decided to explore the “Current Middle Ages” and write a book about his experiences. He tells the stories of SCA members and really delves into the “Real” SCA both the good and the bad! A really, really good read if your interested in the SCA.

Murder at the War is also at Amazon:

I haven't finished it quite yet, but I would agree that it is a very good book. Definitely worth reading if you are interested in the SCA. :D
