    Default How's the weather there?

I know I should be glad for the sunny weather and the cooling mountain breezes. But..... does it have to blow hard enough to send the box fan I had in my bedroom window halfway across my bedroom??? I admit it did tumble a bit to get that far, but still.....
Kind of funny actually. Fan sailing about, all my paperwork I was working on getting properly filed blowing about my room. I am glad that I stapled each job's paperwork together. Otherwise it would be a real @#$*^ to straighten out.

So how is the weather where you are at?

I will act as old as I feel, look as old as I am, and smile at the obvious disconnect.

It's 106 here in Tucson right now...a few degrees cooler than it's been on average these days! (Well, give it another hour or so, we'll be up to 108-109...) *sigh*

I'm in north Texas...about 30 minutes from OK. It is hot (only about 90 right now...don't know what the heat index is though) and humid...kinda like breathing hot water.
We have a storm on the way....maybe. It is Texas ya know.

Hot is one thing...hot and humid another. At least Tucson's a dry heat (so everyone likes to say)--but dry is not necessarily good in my case, as I suffer from moderate eczema. *grrr*

I'm near Philly...it's been hot and humid, but we had a wicked thunderstorm pass through, so now its not supposed to be quite so humid. Looking forward to nice weather for Live 8 (I'm not going) and for the 4th.

I'm playing an outdoor concert with the Tucson Symphony on the evening of the 4th...that oughta be fun....I'm a bit concerned taking my bass clarinet outside in that heat.

oh, right now it's 92, with about a 1000% humidity here in Baltimore. Good thing I'm all alone today. Being naked helps to cool off.

Well folks, for the first time in over a month, the air conditioner is OFF, the ceilings fans are OFF, the table fans are OFF and the windows are all OPEN. :D :D

Today, its hovering between 65-69. AHHHHHH :D
For the last couple weeks, its been in the upper 80's lowers 90's and 100% humidity (dew pts. 68 and up)

I live in Upstate New York, between Buffalo & Rochester, way out in the country. The breeze feels GREAT.

Last night, we went to a neighboring town 15 miles aaway and saw some of the BEST fireworks I've seen in a long time. The best part, they were paid for from donations by all the locals. :D

It's GORGEOUS here in Philly for Live 8!

Yesterday was CRAZY, however. An enormous storm rolled in, and shot the sky full of lightning and thunder. It started to sprinkle just a bit, then the heavens opened. I had half a block to go, but by the time I got indoors, I was already soaked. It was coming down in buckets. I looked out a window on the 14th floor, and the glass was a solid sheet of roiling grey. I couldn't see a single thing. About half an hour later, it was sunny again.

    T'was yummy, all told.
