Yes, indeed, Gibbons website shows a banner saying he's confirmed playing at the bar in my home town. He's been playing music there on the (southern) stage with other Rennie bands for about 5 years at least. I haven't gone every single year. His website shows he just lost a family member, but I'm sure he'll be ready for St Pat's day.
.....And if I'm not mistaken, Gibbon sometimes shows up at Silverleaf Ren Fest, (near Battle Creek, Mich.)
..Best of luck arranging it. Hope you can! You can party all day, eat food, hang out. Parking lot gets full quickly, including parking in the subdivisions around the bar.

Ooh, sorry to get your hopes up. I made an assumption that since they played here (Holly, MI) in Sept 2008, they had a "circuit" in Michigan. Um, since their website shows Texas..guess we're s.o.l. for them playing in MI. Then it gets worse. I checked their website and it shows they have (or will) disband. Dangit!
But the bar party is still fun. and there's lots to see (on teeny budget, or large budget) in the area I'd be glad to point out to you.

To the Fans of Tartanic:
Bottom Line: Tartanic has finally come to port at Davie Jones' Locker.
In all seriousness, Tartanic will not be touring after the close of the Arizona Renaissance Festival. . Also, get your Tartanic CDs because they won't be available for much longer. They will also be available at CDBaby.com until that date.
Again, we've enjoyed our run for the last five years and we've especially loved meeting all of our adoring fans. We Love You, The Guys of Tartanic
