New Arbiter & Guild Rep announcement

Hello again everyone,
Allow me to introduce to you the new IWG Regional Rep for PAC-WEST and Madame Arbiter of Local 26, Maija Henderson (aka Madame Morgan Ravynswood IWG ID#445). Maija has been an active Guild member since the late 90s and is part of the original core members who helped form the direction of the Guild in it's early years, being a transplant from founding Local 69. Please extend to her all your courtesies and greetings in her role as both point wench for all official Local interactions with outside events & business’ AND impartial adviser to you Local.

I hope that with this long-needed addition to your region’s command structure, your collective future together becomes brighter and more filled with the kind of boisterous camaraderie & sisterly support that the Guild was intended for.

Hi everyone!
First, thank you, Lars, for all the time you have given this matter!

Second, as a reminder, my "concern is the good of the Local and Guild as a whole first and being a buddy second. That and she will be the only authorized Guild contact to interface with event & Faire promoters for any proposed Guild activities within the bounds of their properties. The Guild rep will be your press liaison, so to speak, and will be the person to negotiate with stage management, security & crafts coordination when any organized interaction is proposed." (as per the guild scribe )

So, no wench walks until I can clear them with any faire management, and don't act stupid while wearing your pin.


I have some family business to attend to this next week (leaving Saturday morning), but y'all have my email addy (look above) and if you really want it, I will give you my cell phone.

I don't think that there have been any walks or anything official planned at faire for the Local. We haven't had an official presence at WMRF and so nothing official was ever done. Thanks again, Maggie for taking your time to help with this. I will have lots of questions that i want answers to, but I will email them to you over the course of the next week or two.
